Customer Master File, UK largest Telecom Provider (Sep’09 – Jun’10)
The Customer Master File (CMF) is UK largest Telecom Provider Retail's 'one-truth' repository for information about its customers, both residential and business, and their associated data (for example billing accounts, assets and locations). At the current time this data is predominantly restricted to UK based information. MDM is planning to develop a new Real Time Customer Master File solution that will be suitable for deployment group wide.
The Name and Address Database (NAD) maintains a consistent, cleansed view of UK largest Telecom Provider name and address data. Trillium and Ab Initio technology is used to match data from a number of legacy systems against the UK Post Office Address File (PAF) producing a keyed address file and series of relationship records linking the source record to its address. It provides centralised management of Customer Names and Addresses. It also supports online validation of Names and Addresses to increase the overall quality and management of this key piece of UK largest Telecom Provider corporate data.
This shared service facilitates enhanced Name and Address capabilities for multiple client applications enabling enhanced customer management, and better integration to existing UK largest Telecom Provider legacy systems."
