POST GRADUATE PROJECTS

DEVELOPMENT OF GEO-POLYMER FERRO-CEMENT PANEL USING FLY ASH AND STEEL SLAG – Worked individually where Cement and sand is replaced 100% with Fly ash and steel slag. Alkali activators have been used as a binding agent. Using this, Geo-polymer mortar have been developed in which molarity, temperature of alkali solution, curing conditions and shape of the panel is optimized. Using the optimized geo-polymer mortar, Ferro-cement panel have been casted and cured in ambient curing condition.

ANALYTICAL STUDY OF SMART GEO-POLYMER FERR0-CEMENT PANEL USING ABAQUS – Worked individually in which design and analysis of the developed Ferro- cement panel is done using ABAQUS. Load carrying capacity of the panel is increased with increasing mesh layers and 6mm diameter rod. This Ferro-cement panel can also be used as beam and column by interlocking the panels. UNDER GRADUATE PROJECTS

EVALUATING THE CAUSATIVE FACTOR FOR THE GREEN COVER CHANGE DUE TO VARDHA CYCLONE - Worked with a group of 3 members, Satellite image of Chennai before and after cyclone is taken and cloud covering in map is processed using ENVI 4.7, 5.1. The green cover change has been identified using GOOGLE EARTH PRO and causative factor for loss in green cover has been found out from this study. DESIGN OF LUXURY RESIDENTIAL BUILDING - Worked with a group of 4 members in which design and analysis of the Luxury Residential Building is done using Auto CAD and STAAD.pro.

WORKING MODEL OF PANAMA CANAL - Worked with a group of 6 members, working model of PANAMA CANAL with Canal lock connecting two oceans has been constructed in our college campus as permanent structure. AREAS OF INTEREST
