The Government of Azerbaijan(GOA) with Azerbaijan Railways Closed Joint Stock Company (ADY) has to upgrade railway infrastructure and related componenents along east-west railway corridor of Azerbaijan to improve railway services. The program covers key activities which are Power Conversion, Signalling, Locomotives, Track Rehabilitation, Locomotive Depots and Equipments. B) During early construction stage at project site in Jeddah: reviewed and commented on contractor, sub-contractors, supplier and independent 3rd party laboratory submittals (TQ’s, materials, shop drawings, MS/ Procedure, ITP’s, checklists and site handovers) and qualifications. Factory and material source visit / inspection / surveillance of potential supplier and manufacturers involved in the project. (embankments, soil stabilization, geotextile installation, sub-base, base course, asphalt) and drainage system (concrete/HDPE/grass liner, RCCP pipe and RC culvert ), landfill ( HDPE liner finish). Implimented the quality standard of the construction concurrence to the Owner’s (ExxonMobil) and client’s (CJJV, CBI) QA plan in compliance with design, specification and accepted standards of the industry. Constantly verified the pre-bore results with that revealed by the ground investigation, confirmed that the drill-hole is grouted upon satisfactory completion and associate with the design team on the founding level of the structure ( 2-meter diameter socket pofile). Plotted map of rock strata of the sub surface from the drilled data of ground investigation c) Checked specification for verticality, termination criteria, establish and developed a plan to average rate of excavation/ penetration on subsequent piles ( Precast pile drive, bored piles, pilewall, jet grouting) to reach the design requirements with the corresponding sonic, integrity test, load test. Measure the depth, size, reinforcement, cages, concreting method, sampling and testing. d) Established specification from the designer for the acceptable tolerance of the test method applied on the working piles integrity.

General Functions in Parcel 5 & 6: a) Deal with all matters relating to supervision of construction of 43-storey building in which requires a decision or action by the lead designer responsible for the civil projects. Provided, where appropriate, with any supporting information, detailed comments and draft proposals. To observe, inspect and check the execution and testing of the works of the contractors ( Shinchong Construction), trade contractors and suppliers as they proceed in accordance with the design requirements wherever possible. b) Delegated by RE to prepare site memos and non-conformance reports and coordinated with other parties and attend progress meetings, to review, comment and check on contractor’s method statements, submission and ensure that they are in place and that the work is carried out accordingly. Maintained high level of communication with the Trade Contractor’s field staff in order to deliver the technical advices from RE correctly and effectively thru Aconex. c) Took action as necessary where unsafed practices take place or safety precautions are not followed, rejected unsatisfactory work and agree suitable remedial work as required. d) Keeped records of inspections, tests and hidden works. Represented contractor ( Hopewell of Hongkong ) in joint - inspection and construction, survey layout and supervision, undertake planning, scheduling. avail materials, manpower and equipment in constructing jetty, conveyor foundation, coalhouse, desalination plant, water treatment plant, chimney, access road and bridge, concrete buildings, culverts, tower foundation, perimeter wall, stacker reclaimer / trackworks- sleepers and E & M concrete foundation. Mostly we use slipforming concrete structures, bored piles in foundation for heavy loads.Designates and leads subordinates ( 6 site engineers, 2 surveyors, 1 office enginner ) in their respective field of assignments. Supervise and check installation of Temporary Works such as scaffoldings, wall panels, slipforming, decking, tower crane installation, steel casings, sheetpile, dredging and also proper materials handling. Participated in construction progress meeting, review engineering designs packages, join inspection and coordinating with Ove Arup Consultants and other area of discipline such as Black and Veach International and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Napocor and the sub – contractors ( including manufacturers/suppliers).
