Objective

To obtain full time employment as a production line maintenance technician. And rebuild of electro mechanical equipment. Perform mechanical and electrical repairs, as well as design and rebuild custom parts.

Work Experience

Lead Maintenance Technician

2/2019-Present @ Diana Foods

Working in an Automated plant that makes Chicken Broth. As a lead I oversaw a group of 4 Techs. Was responsible for maintaining production at optimum performance, As well as insuring the PMs were complete. Also oversaw several projects and improvements.

Automation Technician

10/2018-2/2019 @ Erling Klinger

Working as an Automation Technician in an automated manufacturing facility. Equipment consists of Persico presses and Kuka Robotics, along with various other equipment.

02/2010-09/2018 @ Birchwood Foods

Support production lines during normal operations. Repair equipment on breakdowns. Performed PMs to help keep downtime to a minimum.

Installation

02/2007-01/2009 @ Done Right Equipment

Install of high speed packaging equipment. Also did startup of production lines. Installed PLC and program as well as VSD, Servo Drive Motors. Tuned all electronic sensors for startup run. Worked Mostly with Allen Bradley RSL Logic software. After startup was complete trained Maintenance staff in the operation and Maintenance of equipment. Also did retrofits and Modifications as needed.

Worked closely with machine shops I have dealt with on other assignments when modifications could not be manufactured in house. several modifications have been incorporated into the manufacture of machinery from factory to all machines

Automation technician

Working in an automated injection molding plant. Mainly packaging dept.Instalation of new prototype machinery, retrofit, and some redesign for improved performance. Plant ran 7 days a week 24 hours. Using my years of machine shop skills was able to manufacture most parts myself, also numerous parts that were both expensive and hard to get from manufacturer.

Was hired on contract basis. Did set up of high speed packaging dept. locate and help with special retrofit of equipment and train maint staff of operation. Worked closely with outside vendors for parts inventory, and manufacture rather than purchase of special hard to obtain expensive parts. Set up in house machine shop and made dies and templates for ease of manufacturing parts without extensive machine shop knowledge. Most parts could be done by production personnel.
