Process Associate in Cash Clearing (Finance)

TATA – Aramco Project Jul 2019 – Oct 2019

Preparing and sending daily cash position to Aramco Trading Dhaharan, Trading Fujirah, and Trading Singapore.

Responsible for clearing open invoices for General Ledger, account Receivables, and account Payables such as billings, payments, netting, and trades in SAP system.

Posting all entries and Auto Sweep needed, of payables and receivables, in various line item accounts via SAP for subsequent business processing.

Daily recording of overdue payments in excel, reporting them to Aramco Dhahran, and closing overdue invoices in Allegro system once paid.

Investigating incorrect entries, any issues that affect closing the book, and reporting critical problems to responsible parties.

Documenting all daily invoices received, pending, and entered in both systems to track and ensure business transactions are recorded correctly.

Responding to requests and accounting related inquiries by providing detailed information if needed.

Closing books by end of the month, compare cash position with total amounts in SAP for each month, and report unanticipated amounts to Aramco.

Effectively communication with team member and Aramco team to address issues and needs.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure, as tasks must be completed before a certain time/date and are linked to Aramco’s work.

Working on two projects to prepare and update clients financial models to include them in annual report.

Evaluating client performance Ratios through excel, including ROE and ROA ratios.

Commenting on key changes or incorrect values in the income statement and to consider improvements.

Researching and writing about different concerns (VAT, rate of return, waste management, other).

Preparing reports and designing PowerPoint for presentations about clients and due diligence.

EY KSA Corporate Finance Women of The Year 2019: Top 10 finalist for female competition monitored by EY judges. Involved individual elevator pitch on “How to build a better working world and create a lasting legacy?”. A group case study discussing the optimal industry to invest a million US dollar that will majorly benefit Saudi Arabia, and an individual interview (Better Question).

SAMA: Financial Awareness case study set by Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency. Involved researching and surveying Saudis on their source of income and spending habits. Collect data and analyze them in excel for decision making, present the solution in PowerPoint and a video clip. The focus of this project, is to raise awareness of financial planning, educate young Saudis about financial responsibility, and the value of money.

Interpretive Simulation: A simulation project about taking over a financially troubled airline company for two years and work to improve it, by managing its operations including pricing, marketing, financing, and decision making. This project has been done online through Interpretive Simulation. ACTIVITIES
