I’ve been in this position since 2015 to 2017 and then as the Acting Engineering Manager for a year. I’m now ready to take on a more challenging role. By being part of the Project Management and Maintenance Team, I’ve come to understand, planning, executing, controlling, team work, budgets and its constraints thereof. The knowledge and insight I’ve gained thus far in my current role has given me the ability to lead a team of 5 members, oversee and take charge of the Engineering and Procurement Department in the absence of a line manager. Thus far I was in the position of the Acting Engineering Manager for twelve months. I have also had the opportunity to interact with, as well as manage and build relations with contractors and colleagues.

I previously worked as a Maintenance Electrician at Palm, Stationery Manufacturers, and gaining vast knowledge in electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, basic hydraulics and basic electronics. Installation of plant and machinery, ac/dc drives, and motors.

I matriculated in the year 2000 with a matric Exemption. I studied and obtained my N4 and N5 certificates in electrical engineering. I am a qualified Electrician with a valid Wireman’s License and have been consistently studying towards my Diploma in Electrical Engineering and thereafter further my studies to a GCC Electrical Engineering qualification.
