Project Title : Experimental investigation subjected to corrosion Project Duration : SIX MONTHS

Description : Steel components play a major role in civil engineering applications but one of the major problems faced by components of corrosion. Corrosion has increasingly become structural problem world over which effectively reduced the weight and thickness of the components which finally reduced the strength of the steel structural components.Hot rolled steel bars were corroded in the gauge portions to different percentages such as 10%,15%,20%,25%and 30% and strength of corroded and uncorroded specimen were evaluated.
