Current Employer: ECC
Position: Survey Manager, from 1st of July 2017 to current.
Duties : Management of Survey department, ensuring accurate timeous reporting of production volumes, integrity of data and compliance in term of all duties imposed by Reg.17 of the Mine Health and Safety Act.
Managing survey duties on both Opencast and Underground Collieries.
Contractor management and reporting for payment. Assisting geological and planning functions with their work.
Managing the work and development for a team of three shaft surveyors, surveyor, CAD specialist and sixteen survey assistants.
As part of my duties at ECC I need to manage undermining applications and conversion of prospecting rights to mining rights.
Compile the 5 year budget for four collieries on XPAC.
Previous Employer: South 32 (Old BhpBilliton)
Position: Survey Superintendent, from 2nd of January 2013 to 1st of July 2017
Duties : Management of Survey department, ensuring accurate timeous reporting of production volumes, integrity of data and compliance in term of all duties imposed by Reg.17 of the Mine Health and Safety Act.
Ensuring correct ramp gradients and design parameters are followed to ensure open pit safety. Rehabilitation design, planning and control.

Investigating, developing, investigating and implementing more efficient systems of work. I`ve successfully implemented Survey with unmanned aerial vehicles and are currently working on a mobile vehicle mounted LIDAR and roving office system.
