Identifying and developing the suppliers for achieving cost effective purchase of commodities like proprietary items, Trims and Plastics, Rubber pars, and Decals.

Responsible to part tooling process like Injection molding, Vacuum forming, RIM and Sheet Molding Compound (SMC) and fixtures.

Drawing review with Engineering team and floating RFQ’s to preselect suppliers for DFM and quote.

Tooling should be cost, Quote synthesis for both part and tool.

Supplier evaluation and selection with global SCM/NPD, quality, cost and delivery (QCD) principles as per company norms.

Conducting meetings with Quality, R&D and suppliers to solve queries and finalizing of technical and DVP/CIR sign off.

Preparation of cost estimation of the components and negotiation with vendors for cost, delivery and payment terms.

Working directly under guidance of Strategic sourcing head for commercial negotiation, delivery and payment terms to finalization of VOB (Vendor on board)/ LOBA (letter of business award) for both part and tooling cost.

Tooling and part PO release as per payment terms agreement.

Taking tool kick off sign off clearance from R&D and quality.

Develop prototype strategy to support timely supply of development components for validation and testing analysis.

Follow and manage APQP process (Advanced Product Quality Planning) - PPAP Approval

(Production Part Approval Process) and SOP (Start of Production) targets. TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Purchase related all responsibility - New vendor development, Price negotiation with vendor, PO release, Material delivery and payments.

Responsible for creating, improving and developing project strategies.

Strategic material planning, Procurement based on the company’s production requirement and schedules.

PROJECTS:

BE MECH. (2015-16): Adichunchanagiri Institute of Technology, Chikkamagaluru PROJECT TITLE: “Instrumentation and Performance Evaluation on Single Cylinder Four Stroke Petrol Engine with Ethanol Additive”

Description:

Automobile have become a very important part in the current world where the pollution has become a major concern to living being meanwhile depleting of petroleum products. So need to found some new renewable non-polluting alternative fuels to ensure the proper and safe survival of internal combustion engines.

Through this project we had evaluate the performance of 4S single cylinder SI engine with ratio of 1%, 3% and 5% of ethanol and gasoline by volume. The performance parameters were determined at various loads on engine with ethanol blended gasoline & 5% improvement in BTE and BSFC as compare to pure petrol engine.
