Name of the project : REVIEW ON MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF GFRP COMPOSITE MATERIALS UNDER HYGROTHERMAL LOADING CONDITIONS
Description of the project :
The objective of this paper is to review the effect on GFRP Composite underHygrothermal loading conditions i.e. temperature and moisture conditions. With the increase in the technology, Composite has the wide range of applications now a days. When it is exposed to different environmental conditions it leads to change in its mechanical properties with the time period, and durability varies. The different mechanical properties and performance of GFRP are reviewed under hygrothermal environmental conditions.
Name of the project :DESIGN, FABRICATION AND ANALYSIS OF MODIFIED WETGRINDER INTO SAND MULLER.
Description of the project :
The main aim is to design, fabricate and analysis of modified wet grinder into sand Muller.
A sand Muller was designed and fabricated. They are subjected to green compression strength test. The Sand Muller was designed to help foundry industries.The design procedure has been initiated by taking volume of sand and the inertial properties to obtain the driving characteristics. Component design has been carried out using condition of sand and optimal torque has been designed. An attempt is been made to do the geometric modelling in CATIA and static analysis has been carried out in ANSYS workbench.The properties of moulding materials are very vital to the production of dimensionally accurate castings. There is an ever-present trend to increase the tonnage of prepared sand from sand preparation units. This has caused the time for mixing to be shortened to such an extent that the quality of the sands have suffered materially. The bond is not being uniformly blended into the sand, nor is mixing being sufficient to make use of the bond. This certainly does not reflect favourably on the foundry industry where better castings are so important.
