Coromandel International Limited. :

A large - scale organization is involved in manufacturing of speciality chemicals, Agro chemicals and their formulation. COROMANDEL INTERNATIONAL LIMITED R & D centre is recognized by DSIR, is at their works at Sarigam. Corormandel is an ISO 9001-2000 and ISO 14001-2004 certified company. The company’s turnover is around 1100-1200 crores per annum.

Mangalam Drugs and Organics Ltd:

A small scale industry in manufacturing of bulk drugs, dyes intermediate. The company’s turn over is around 100 crores per annum.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Posses hand on skills for handling various operations viz., High pressure reaction.,Friedal-Crafts reaction, Chlorination, Acetylation, Isomerisation, Oxidation, De-hydrogenation etc.,

Can handle toxic chemicals like, Chlorine, Phosphorous trichloride, Phosphorous oxychloride and phosphorous sulfochloride etc.,

Process optimization, trouble shooting and purification process.

Process control by means of thin layer chromatography, by classical analysis and by gas chromatography.

Interpretation of gas chromatography data of products.

Searching literature, patents by internet (By Scifinder and uspto) and by journals and abstracts.

Knowledge of ACD/chemsketch software for structure preparation.

Involved in the development and stabilization of formulations.

Knowledge of autoclave pressure reaction.

I have done plant commissioning of existing and new products.

Scale up the product from lab level to plant level.

Generating data for registration.

Calculate norms and costing of product.

Also done recovery of by-product from effluent of product.

I am also engaged with M/s. Du pont safety.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

Glyphosate:

1.Developed new route (novel process of Glyphosate) with zero effluent.

2.Improvement in the yield of glyphosate by ammonia route at plant level.

3.Conducting aqueous route and H2O2 route at plant level.

4.Prepare 71% glyphosate ammonium salt soluble prills and commercialized.

Acephate :

1.Improve the yield at plant level from 1.25 norms to 1.09 norms of DMPAT.

2.Prepare 90% acephate soluble prills and commercialized.

Chlorpyrifos:

1.Improve the yield at toxification stage in solvent route.

2.Scale up the aqueous route in toxification stage.

3.Prepare NaHTCP without using solvent and scale up at plant level.

4.Prepare CPP by using aqueous route and it is commercialised at plant level.

Mancozeb:

Cost saving at different stage.

Develop formulation products ( SC, OS, SE, WP, WDG ) and

commercialised. Developed different blue shade of Mancozeb 80 WP as

per customer requirement and commercialised.

Now, I am developed new recipe of Mancozeb OS 600 gm/liter with

saving of rupees 52/liter.

Propineb :

Developed propineb 70 WP and commercialised. Plant commissioning also

done.

Other agrochemical products : Acetamiprid, Tricyclazole,

Thiamethoxam, DDVP, Triclopyr butotyl ester (MCA route and Triclopyr

acid route), Bispyribac sodium.etc.

Bulk drug products: Nimesulide, Chloroquine phosphate.

LANGUAGES KNOWN : English, Gujarati and Hindi.

Present CTC : 9.88 Lakhs / annum.

Expected CTC : Negotiable.
