PROFESSIONAL HIGHLIGHTS

Served as Dental Director and established all necessary protocols for clinic in correctional facility. Examined and treated incarcerated populations’ oral health needs and reported findings to Department of Health Correction. Restored edentulous patients to proper aesthetics and function; supervised all auxiliary dental personnel.

Built and managed four solo practices, specializing in restorative dentistry, exodontia, and removable prosthodontics.

Oversaw dental laboratory procedures, including monitoring production and expenditures, performing quality control measures, and safeguarding precious metals. Implemented infection control practices, managed laboratory staff, and coordinated with Dental Occupation Health and Safety Officers to ensure workplace safety.

Coordinated in-house Dental Continuing Education program, assisting dental officers in achieving state and Air Force required training hours.

Attended the 2009 Annual Governance & Scientific Meeting as Delegate of the Puerto Rico Academy of General Dentistry.

Maintained Biopsy and Medical Consultation reference materials, documenting written results, patient health records, and data logbooks. Analyzed biopsy results and referred patients to proper treatments.
