Coordinate with Project Management Consultant and Client for the Quality Requirements.

Preparation and implementation of Quality Procedures, Method statements and Inspection Test Plan (ITP).

Ensure that all relevant codes and/or specifications are applied at Project and only current documents are in use, in accordance with Master Lists of Documents.

Conduct & assist in Quality Management awareness programs at project. Conduct Quality Training for Engineers, Inspectors, Supervisors/Forman and Welders.

Prepare and review documentations for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ASME certification.

Conducting Internal and Sub-contractor Audits. Assist External Audits conducted by Customer and Third Party. Conduct Contractor, Vendor and TPI assessment.

Identifying Non-Conformity, Root Cause analysis, propose and implement Corrective measures. Issuing and Closeout Nonconformity, Preventive and Corrective action reports (CAPA).

Attending weekly quality, progress and management meeting with contractors and customer.

Conducting internal quality meeting.

Conduct Site Surveillance Visits and Inspection for Site Execution, witness and approval of the procedure qualification site Mockup. Inspection of materials, consumables and equipments.

Coordinate and oversee ongoing inspections at site and workshop on prefabrication and erection of process and non-process piping,erection of structure and equipments, inspection and testing of - incoming material, welding, painting/coating, galvanizing, GRP/GRE pipe lamination, structural fabrication and erection, rotary/static equipment erection and alignment including Over Head Cranes and load testing, Ductile Iron Pipe installation, wrapping, Heat shrink sleeve application, Holiday testing, HVAC duct and equipment installation. Take responsibilities to develop and qualify, witness and review Welding Procedures (WPS/PQR). Conduct, witness and review welder performance qualification (WPQT) test as per qualified WPS and applicable code/specification and preparing welder certificates and ID cards.

Electrical and Instrumentation – installation of cable tray, underground and aboveground cable laying testing and termination, Cable continuity testing, inspection of earthing and lightning system, electrical instrument and panel installation, Instrumentation installation.

Concrete, Structural and Architectural works – Review Concrete Mix Design, witness Trial Mix, batching plant assessment, monitoring concrete production and quality, pre-casting and erection of Post Tensioned Beam, excavation and backfilling works, waterproofing, reservoir testing, NDT, painting and epoxy application, cladding, false ceiling, tiling and flooring.

Interpretation of RT films, Evaluation of VT, MT, PT, UT, reports.

Welding NDT (Conventional RT and X-Ray, Micro focal radiography, UT, Conventional and Fluorescent MT/ PT) and visual inspection.

Destructive test such as tension, impact, IGC, micro/macro hardness, chemical composition etc.

Water Mega Reservoir, Qatar – The water security project of Qatar comprising 15 Primary Reservoirs and associated Pump Stations at 5 location with total storage capacity of 1422 MIG and interconnection multiple corridor mains pipe lines with an approximate combined length of over 400km varying in size between 1200mm and 1600mm diameter and 200km of transmission mains of sizes varying from 900mm to 1600mm diameter.

Scope – Detail Design and Site Supervision Consultancy.

Customer : Kahramaa (Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation).

QA/QC Manager : AMEM w.l.l, Doha, Qatar. (Jan 2010 to May 2015)

Projects Undertaken

1.DNSTW Umm Salaal, Qatar- Doha North Sewage Treatment Works (DNSTW) is a significant sewage treatment project being undertaken by the Public Works Authority of Qatar (Ashghal). As a wastewater treatment, water reuse and sludge treatment facility, it has the capacity to treat up to an average flow of 245,000m3 of wastewater per day and is the largest in Qatar.

Scope - Assembly and installation of Equipments, Fabrication and Erection of Stainless Steel & GRP Piping, steel structures, Supply and Installation of Electrical-I&C components.

Customer : Keppel Seghers, (Ashghal).

2.QATALUM (Qatar Aluminum Project), Mesaieed, Qatar - one of the biggest aluminum plant ever carried out, born from the joint venture between Petroleum Qatar and Hydro. The plant will have a capacity in the first phase of 585,000 tons of primary aluminum.

Scope - The mechanical erection of the Filter number four (FTP 4), of the Fume Treatment Plants including the Wet Scrubber and the piping and accessories across the two pot-rooms.
