Plant Quality Activities:

Making sure that of assembly process of Main bearing assembly and Generator assembly as per protocols and standards.

Making sure that of manufacturing process of Generator Rotor Glueing process as per protocol and Technical notes recommendation by designers.

Making sure that manufacturing processes of Hub, Nacelle Assemblies are meet specifications and standards.

O&M - Generator Refurbishment activity:

Check the Site return Generator Air gap inspection and overall inspection of Generator.

Generator Rotor: Visual inspection of all 88 poles of magnets for rust, magnet release, damages if any and put in pole matrix report. Verification of design change. implementations status and Ovality of Rotor for further usage.

Generator stator: inspection of stator core for any damages.

Hollow shaft and Main axle castings bearing seating surface and cabinet fit dimensions inspection.

Main bearings cylindrical roller bearing and Tapper roller bearing inspections.

Preparation of complete summary for dismantled Generator.

Vendor Quality Activities:

FRP components (Nacelle Cap & Floor& Spinner segment& spinner cap) inspection in various supplier ends.

(At suppliers: M/s.VFG, M/s. SFPL & M/s. SR fibre glass).

Heavy Fabrication and machined components at various supplier ends.

(At M/s. NS Engineering - Hyderabad, M/s. Simplex Engineering - Bhilai, Jak Industries, Gayath Industries, Classic tools-Chennai).

Castings inspection at supplier end (At supplier : M/s. Patel Alloys - Ahmadabad & M/s. L&T – Coimbatore).

Hydraulic power pack, Hydraulic Rotor lock & Rotor brake inspection at M/s. Hydac India - Coimbatore & M/s. Stromag India – Pune.

Knowledge in some of DIN, EN, ISO & IS standards.
