Trauma Coordinator 2014–2019
Managed the systematic evaluation of trauma patients in the Emergency Room (ER) and admissions.
Held full responsibility in reviewing trauma records including: charts, documentation and video review to ensure performance improvement and thoroughness of care.
Observed the hospital’s performance regarding departments and clinical services related to trauma patients, while determining the areas that needed performance improvement in individual, team, and system functions.
Created and administered multidisciplinary rounds including bi-weekly and weekly trauma meetings with all disciplines, involving advanced practice providers (APPs), nurses, case management, physical therapists (PT), occupational therapists (OT), speech therapists (ST), social work, nutrition, child life, psychiatry, psychology, and rehabilitation to review current patients and anticipate hospital needs through to discharge and rehabilitation.
