PROJECTS Quality improvement in cylinder liner pressing and projection

Cylinder liner pressing and projection processes with engine block have been recorded many rejections in the industry. Project focuses on to eliminate the rejection of liners during liner pressing and projection with engine block. It involves the calculation of interference fit tolerance value of the various grades of liner and engine block. The CATIA software is used for modeling of the cylinder liner and stress analysis, thermal analysis of the cylinder liner is done using ANSYS software for same materials.

Improvement of efficiency (time) in Neptune engine assembly (Ashok Leyland).

During assembly of engine more time is required to unload the engine from conveyor bed. So automation process is required to unload the engine from the conveyor bed. Various solutions were recommended and designed to enhance the automation in unloading the engine. This automation reduces the time and improves the production efficiency of the assembly section.
