CAREER ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Obtained, installed, and used LabVIEW to program KUKA robots to transform durability and endurance testing processes from large outsourcing expenditures to efficient and cost-effective in-house operations.
Built and programmed with NI Sound and Vibration LabVIEW toolkit a semi an-echoic sound room utilized for noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) tests to eliminate the cost of outsourcing.
Created a multi-use, computer-controlled end-of-line tester with multiple high precision measurement capabilities able to be produced at 1/10th typical market price. Testing sequence programmed with LabVIEW.
Designed and produced data acquisition (DAQ) stations based on National Instruments’ LabVIEW, with flexible framing for easy conversion for alternate tasks at competitive cost of 1/5th market price.
Generated new business and increased awarded programs volume by two times in less than three years by integrating CAN/LIN bus instrumentation into testing processes which enabled control-test-validation of seats.
Landed large contracts with GM by conceptualizing, producing, and programming a Thermal Imaging Test Station with a FLIR high-definition camera and temperature testing capabilities of 1.2 million points per heated pad for new PTC technology. Used LabVIEW’s addon Vision Acquisition and Thermovision software from FLIR.
Created a currently in-used show and exhibition centerpiece which bolstered the sales and marketing department’s show functions by outfitting a Chrysler 300 car with around 60 heating/ventilation/cooling devices, programming it with LabVIEW, and enabling remote tablet control to display Gentherm capabilities.
