Project work:

Project #1: Electrical power generation using wind turbine (MINI WINDTURBINE) Role : Team Lead

Tools Used : 40watts DC motor, Breadboard, Regulator, PVC pipes Description : There are many methods for generating power and it is one of the methods I have chosen to generate power. It takes wind as input and generates Electricity. A regulator is used for providing constant output during uneven winds. Output is collected at the bread board there i connect a charger to charge the mobiles/batteries. The total wind turbine structure is made with PVC pipes. The energy conversion during this process is WIND ENERGY -> KINETIC ENERGY -> MECHANICAL ENERGY -> ELECTRICAL ENERGY Real time uses: It used to charge mobiles and to light up the emergency lights and for charging the batteries.

Project #2: Water power generation

Role : Team Lead

Tools Used : PVC pipes, 12v motor, LED lights, Wooden plank NANDAM VENKATESH

Description : It is the one of the methods for power generation. It is very cheap and most economical method for power generation. It is mainly used in rainy season. It is the base load power generation method. PVC pipes are used for physical structure of the turbine. A 12v motor is used as turbine generator for power generation. Water is taken as input and is given to motor and it generates Electrical energy. LED's are used to represent the output. The process of Energy conversion is WATER ENERGY -> POTENTIAL ENERGY -> KINETIC ENERGY -> MECHANICAL ENERGY -> ELECTRICAL ENERGY

Real time uses: It used to charge mobiles and to light up the emergency lights and for charging the batteries.

Project #3: Smart home automation

Role : Team lead

Tools used : Arduino UNO, 12v Relay module, Bluetooth module, Adapter, Lights, Wires Description : The home automation circuit is built around an Arduino Uno board, Bluetooth module HC-05 and a 3-channel relay board. The number of channels depends on the number of appliances you wish to control. Arduino Uno is powered with a 12V DC adaptor/power source. The relay module and Bluetooth module can be, in turn, powered using a board power supply of Arduino Uno. Bluetooth module used in this project is HC-05, which supports master and slave mode serial communication (960*-****** bps) SPP and UART interface. Using these features it can communicate with other Bluetooth-enabled devices like mobile phones, tablets and laptops. The module runs on 3.3V to 5V power supply. Commands are sent via Bluetooth to Arduino Uno.

Real Time Uses: Used for controlling home appliances, Industrial and Office purposes. Project #4: Hover bike

Role : Team Lead

Tools used : Hub motors, Gyroscopes, Control unit, 12v batteries, GI bike arrangement, wooden piece, Iron bars, two metal sheets as pedals, Sponge and Wires. Description : The main aim of project is to create a pollution free scooter by replacing engine with motor. The project is mainly designed by using BLDC motor, controller and sensors. The motor is driven by gyroscope sensors which measures the tilt angle and gives information to the motor driver which produces counter action to the board tilt which makes the board balanced. The power supply to the motor is taken from batteries. The gyroscope and speed control boards receive the rpm and tilt information from the sensor inside the wheels, and they, in turn, send it to the main logic board. The wheels of the hover board houses the electric motors themselves. They also contain a tilt and speed sensor. This detects the rpm

(revolutions per minute) of the individual wheel, and sends it to the mother board the motherboard reads the data and relay it to the speed control. Project achievements:

Speed-17kmph

Cost effective

Distance covered for full charge-13km
