SUMMARY

Over ** years of experience in Total Facilities Management, Operations, Project and Production Management in South Africa and the Middle East (Iraq and KSA). A qualified Industrial Engineer with a specialization in Chemical and Mechanical Engineering. Project manager at TAFGA (Al Tamimi)

Provide overall leadership and ensure coordination between all parties involved in Camp Operations. The Project was commissioned by ARAMCO for oil field development and included clients such as Halliburton, Schlumberger, Saipem, Hyundai to name a few (over a hundred different entities are housed on site).

Total design capacity is 12000 people with an effective staff of operations of 600 people.

Current occupancy is 8900 persons.

Major Achievements

From a net loss of SAR 3 000 000 per month to a Profit of SAR 2 000 000 per month.

2013 – May 2015

Base Manager / Facilities manager AMA1, Anadarko Petroleum Corporation

Anadarko is developing a major gas field offshore in Carbo Delgado Province in the northern region of Mozambique. The project will eventually have four LNG trains, docks and an airfield to provide a significant part of the LNG supply to world markets.

Operational Tasks and Responsibilities:

Provide overall leadership and ensure coordination between all parties involved in Camp Operations. Manage project staff and contractors. Oversee waste management activities in accordance with Company and legal guidelines. Review activity schedules and supply chain timelines to ensure delivery objectives are achievable and met. Ensure critical equipment spares are available and in working order; provide weekly stock report. Review designs and SOWs to ensure these are adapted to local operating conditions, available resources and environment. Ensure that KPI's are being measured and implement measures to address trends indicated by KPI's. Responsible for Incident Command System.

Corporate Maintenance Manager, Alfanar Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Maintenance Manager for two project areas in Riyadh supporting almost 8,000 individuals. Approximately 5,200 living quarters and over 43,990 SQM of office space, including conference centers. Responsible for training staff for all office maintenance and renovations.

Operating budget of 3.6 M for manpower and 4.2 M SAR for materials and accommodations, excluding renovation projects.

Facilities Manager, Maaden – Base camps in Al Jalamid (ARAR) and Raz Az Zawr (Al Jubail) with accommodations for up to 300 people. Key areas of responsibility included all aspects of camp management.

2004 - 2007

Facilities Engineer/Manager Life Support, WorleyParsons, Kirkuk Airbase and Basra International Airport, Iraq

Reported directly to the Business Manager for the project (reconstructing the Iraqi Oil fields’ infrastructure in Iraq). Key area of responsibility was the Operation and maintenance of the RIO North Base camp for the Parsons E&C (PIJV) team on the RIO project for the United States Army Core of Engineers (USACE). Primary function was life support, i.e. plan, construct, maintain the infrastructure needed to live and work such as office, accommodation, electricity, water, sewage, operational services (maintenance, cleaning, support of logistics and engineering services) and Food services under severely adverse conditions. Worked in both Kirkuk and Basra during this project and supported up to 300 plus people in Kirkuk and 260 plus in Basra.

Reported direction to the Project Manager with the key area of responsibility being the construction of the RIO North Base camp for the Halliburton (KBR) team on the RIO Project for the USACE on the USAF Air Base in Kirkuk, Iraq. Supervised over 60 construction workers.

Responsible for the management of personnel, materials and equipment related to construction activities for the base camp for 152 living units and 20 000 ft of office space and 4 800 of warehouse space. Construction of 135m^3 RO plant and two lift stations, including commissioning.
