A box jig's primary purpose is to provide repeatability, accuracy, and interchangeability in the manufacturing of products.

A device that does both functions (holding the work and guiding a tool) is called a box jig. A box Jigs provide on means of manufacturing interchangeable parts since they establish a relation with predetermined to tolerance between the work and cutting tool. 5S is a workplace organisation method that uses a list of ve Japanese words: seiri, seiton, seiso, seiketsu, and shitsuke. These have been translated as "Sort", "Set In Order", "Shine", "Standardise" and "Sustain". The list describes how to organise a work space for e ciency and e ectiveness by identifying and storing the items used, maintaining the area and items, and sustaining the new order.

- We implemented this system in all the classes in our department.

- It was a huge success that other departments also tried to implement. Design and Fabrication of Cam Analysis Machine

The project was to repair and restart a cam analysis machine in our college,so that our juniors could work on it. We rewound the motor and added a custom ac / dc convertor to power it, we also changed the cam lobe and recalibrated the whole machine .

Increasing E ciency Using Turbo Charger

Jan 2015 – May 2015

The project was to increase the e ciency of a two stroke engine by adding a turbo charger to it. This was accomplished on a 50cc engine which resulted in a performance increase of 15%. I was in charge of the fabrication and assembly of the turbo charger.
