Medatrax Guru- I was selected to serve, by the MSN Program Director at the University of Tampa, as the point person for student contact as an expert resource to all MSN students. In this role, I was responsible for the clinical electronic health record (EHR) system used in the clinical portion of the MSN Program. As the MSN student representative, I effectively and efficiently provided access, availability, and support services to the entire MSN practicum cohort. I provided information and support as the first point of contact related to the use and function of the clinical practicum EHR system. I also assisted all MSN students in making the best use of technology in their role as MSN students. In addition, I managed a BlackBoard discussion board that was used to create a data base for frequently asked questions for use by all students who needed this information. Finally, I facilitated the use of Blackboard as an open forum for students to ask question, share concerns, and other content that might benefit the clinical practicum cohort.
