Carried out Mechanical detailed engineering and handling of various deliverables such as Drawings, Documents and Material Approvals.

Coordinating between consultant team and subcontractor’s team for construction work.

Supervision of subcontractor’s Mechanical works at site.

Follow up of Work Progress at site for subcontractor payment applications.

Carry out the job as per KOC safety requirements.

Project: Statoil Company (Norway) for the Nyhamna expansion piping project that takes place in a live gas plant, adding extra complexity to one of Norway’s biggest industry projects. Development of new facilities to receive the third party gas and also significant upgrade for various supporting utilities at Nyhamna, total value of $150 Million. Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Engineering calculations.

Extraction of piping deliverables from PDMS.

Preparation of Valve list, Tie-in List and Material Requisitions for various items.

Preparation of Data Sheets for Valves & Specialty items and IFC deliverables.

Engineering study of requirements of the project and plans practical designs which are compatible with existing facilities and methods through the application of engineering principles and design practices and standards.

Preparation of Piping Isometrics from the PDMS.

Handling client comments, resolving the problems.

Coordinating with other disciplines like Structural, Electrical & Instrumentation and Construction team and close coordination with Client to discuss and resolve technical issues.

Project 1: IOCL Paradip Project (Greenfield Coastal Refinery) equipped with 11 crude oil tanks to store high sulphur heavy crude, with 58 petroleum product & intermediate tanks (including for liquid sulphur storage tanks). Main units such as Delayed Coking Unit (DCU) and Diesel Hydro Treatment (DHDT) Unit, total value INR150 Cr. Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Generation of Unit Plot Plan for DCU and DHDT units as per Heurtey Petrochem Specifications.

Piping Modelling in PDMS.

3D design and Detailed Engineering for the DCU, DHDT units by using PDMS software.

Extraction of GAD’s, Isometric and MTO.

Participation of 3D Model review, Constructability review to client.

Project 2: Kuwait Oil Company - New Gas Booster Station (BS-171 West Kuwait), EPC contract by Saipem Projects comprising of three high pressure and low pressure gas trains to produce 234 million Cu.ft/day of dry gas. Gas is fed from the existing gathering centers17, 27, 28 & 16, also having a Pipeline network from these units to Booster station & an Intermediate slug catcher, total value of $900 Million. Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Generation of Area plot plans.

Piping modelling in PDMS and extraction of GAD’s and isometrics.

Modelling of Piping Supports for Intermediate slug catch (ISC) area by using Multi-Disciplinary Support System (MDS) module.

3D model reviews with Saipem engineering team.

Coordination with various engineering discipline groups.

Extraction of clash check, MTO reports from PDMS.

Checked Vendor GAD’s and provided comments on the GAD’s. Education
