Dear Hiring Manager:
When I first visited Vancouver years ago, the city captivated me with its beautiful scenery, green environment, and welcoming community. I wanted to live in Vancouver since then, and my dream has come true. Further to my desire to be a part of the community, I am now dreaming about working as an Administrative Assistant. I am applying for the Administrative Assistant position at the OfficeTeam. I have a variety of work experience with the Vancouver Public Library (VPL), most recently as a Library Public Service Associate I, providing customer centered services to the public. I also have more than two years of work experience in an administrative capacity as a Librarian at the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education in the Public Library system (SMOEPL.) Those positions required me not only to provide customers with exceptional responsive services, but also to perform various clerical tasks including scheduling events, creating statistical reports, managing departmental budgets, and ordering supplies. In addition, I have familiarity with a wide range of digital programs while providing digital services at SMOEPL including MS Office programs, Photoshop and basic editing programs. Consequently, I have the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software, and procedures from my experience of using multiple innovative and creative digital programs.
I have enjoyed working as a team committed to a respectful work place. I have done my best to fulfill those values with the patrons of VPL and staff alike. Now I would like to further my career at the OfficeTeam, and look forward to working as a member of the company. Please feel free to contact me via email at ************@*****.*** or by phone at 778-***-****.
Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely yours,
Jeeyoung Kong
