The program was designed to empower local business owners, government employees and university teachers to better understand the underserved adult learner and to teach soft skills and career readiness skills to program participants for potential employment. The program focused on high unemployment regions. Results included equipping training participants with effective active learning, student engagement and assessment techniques as well as identifying, through observation, potential ongoing trainers for the project.

Harvard Business Publishing (2004-2005)

Determined the feasibility of the publisher approaching the career education sector with online products and services and then drafted an entrance strategy. Project involved research, survey utilization, comparative analysis, marketing strategy and implementation. Results included the publishing division’s acquirement of new clients in the career education field.

Houghton-Mifflin Publishing (2004)

Primary contributor to the publishing company’s former Career Resource Center for college students. Authored articles and developed activities for career readiness, workplace skills, management and leadership.
