Ensure workplace health, safety and security requirements in respect of the building and stock are met and carry out risk identification and assessment and implement corrective actions where relevant in order to safeguard the company and its employees.
Plan the arrangement of goods within the warehouse and organize special requirements for stock such as chilled goods, hazardous materials or fragile products.
Develop and maintain a schedule for the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment and arranging of repairs and replacement of equipment in order to ensure an uninterrupted service.
Enhance the utilization of existing/ new technology and ensure compatibility with operational requirements, facilitating integration through the development and implementation of support processes, platforms and mechanism including equipment control and maintenance.
Lead the Warehouse team including TES employees through the planning and allocation of work, developing and motivating subordinates.
Proactively monitor and ensure compliance of all relevant legislative requirements and that all activities in the area of responsibility are compliant with company specific regulations
