Passionate go-getter involved in number of transport projects both locally and up in African countries such as Ghana, Malawi, Kenya and recently Tanzania where I was part of a project launched and managed by Crown Agents, funded by UK government, the Department for International Development (DfID) and made possible by the Africa Community Access Programme (AFCAP), a project that is currently active in Ethiopia, Mozambique, Zambia, South Africa, Democratic Republic of Congo and South Sudan. The aim of this project is to promote safe and sustainable access to markets, healthcare, education, employment, social and political network focussed on rural communities in Africa. Prior to all this I went to United Kingdom as part of the government transport management exchange programme, a programme funded by UK Government, Department for International Development (DfID).

The increase in the price of electricity and fuel levy by both Electricity Supply Commission (ESCOM) and Energy Department as the regulator and the ever decreasing disposable income among the households and automobile as a result of the economic recession has created an ideal situation for search of an alternative source of energy. This has prompted me to join the rest of those who share the same view and are willing to explore the concept of advanced technology, LPG Autogas as a dual fuel to bring cheaper alternative fuel solution to the South African consumers.
