I am an experienced Safety Supervisor / Safety Officer with 16+ years experience at Major Petrochemical plant, Oil & Gas Petrochemical Refinery & Pipeline Constructions and Heavy Duty Electrical and Instrumentation ( E & I ) and Civil Constructions under EPCs Company as a Snr. Project Description:

It is one of the strategic projects of Kuwait National Petroleum Company which aimed at upgrading and expanding the existing KNPC two refineries at Mina Abdulla and Mina Al-Ahmadi. The CFP will transform the two refineries into an integrated merchant refining complex that meets the diversified requirements of the world oil market. Carrying out the project will maintain high safety and environment standards in line with KPC directions. Total refining capacity of this complex after the CFP completion will go up to 800,000 barrels a day.

Roll & Responsibilities:

Maintaining OHSAS 18001:2007-

Maintain and help control daily HSE practices through regular checks of work sites, verify that hazards are identified, precautionary measures are implemented and relevant HSSE advice provided.

HSE programs and procedures are communicated to contractors, and regularly reinforced with, construction site personnel.

Maintaining HSE records which included training, inspections of equipments, tool box record, work permits.

Prepare programs and arrange participation training with HSE line management

Promote safe working systems and procedures and monitor the proper application of the Permit to Work system and associated Job Safety Analysis / RA, and Review Sub-contractor related policies, plans, procedures and guidelines

Participate as member of construction site emergency response team, and emergency drill practice and advice to the designated Incident Control measures of emergency.

Reporting and maintaining records of any accidents / incidents & near miss & Conduct frequent audits and inspections to confirm the effectiveness of HSE programs on critical operations / equipment and procedures at assigned location; present recommendations for improvement; and follow-up their implementation

Ensure appropriate Medical First aid availability.

Ensure checked Sub-contractors Tool Box meeting is conducted periodically as per schedule.

Project Description:

The Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) undertook the construction of Booster Station 171 project in West Kuwait, Kuwait.

The project envisaged the construction of three high and low-pressure gas trains to produce 6.62 million m3 of dry gas per day and 69,000 barrels per day of condensate.

It included the construction of a gas dehydration unit, a liquid dehydration unit, tank vapor centrifugal compressor at three gathering centers, pumping units and the installation of three low pressure compressors, high pressure compressor and turbine drivers.

It also covered a pipeline network extending from gathering centers 16, 17, 27 and 28 to BS-171. The New BS-171 will produce 234 MMSCFP of gas and 69 million BPD of condensate. Four Gathering Centers (17, 27, 28 and the new GC-16) will supply BS-171 with gas.

Our scope of works includes trench excavation, laying of pipeline & RT-RP pipelines, welding, RT, lowering, sand blasting, painting, backfilling, CP, hydro test, pegging swabbing for approx. 200KM of length. Also tie-in GC was included in our scope.

Project Description:

The Gathering Centre (GC- 16) Project was undertaken in 2010 to process and handle sour crude, associated gas and water produced from a number of wells across 3 oilfields in West Kuwait. AKC was engaged to design, supply, install and commission the Plant. GC- 16 is one of the key projects in the Kuwaiti O&G sector and the largest contractor owned Early Production Facility (EPF) in the region. Production fluid from six reservoirs (three high pressure, three low pressure) is transferred to the GC 16 where it is chemically treated prior to the separation process. The new GC 16 exports 100,000 barrels per day of processed crude, this is done by processing 150,000 barrels per day of produced water, 75 million standard cubic feet of associated high pressure gas, and 41 million standard cubic feet of associated low pressure gas via one of sixty nine different pipelines.

Our scope is laying of trench excavation, cable laying, panels installation, connection, Termination, Gliding, Testing, Charging and substation construction including pre-commissioning.
