APPOINTMENTS:

October 2015 – Present: Senior Registrar, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Nigeria. Competencies in Oral surgery include:

Intra and trans-alveolar extraction of teeth 2, Incision and drainage of intra and extraoral abscesses, Suturing of Intraoral wounds, Closed reduction of TMJ dislocation, Pre- prosthetic surgery. Surgical exposure of unerupted teeth for orthodontic purposes. Removal of odontogenic and soft tissue cysts (enucleation and marsupialization). Tooth transplantation. Removal of foreign bodies in soft tissue and hard tissue, Vestibuloplasty Closure of oroantral fistulas, Intra and extraoral hard and soft tissue biopsy, Frenectomy. Competencies in Maxillofacial surgery include: Management of different craniofacial fracture using open reduction and internal fixation and maxillo-mandibular fixation, management of polytrauma patients including RTA, gunshot victims etc. Management of benign and malignant jaw tumours. Surgical reconstruction of jaw defects, management of salivary gland tumours. Management of congenital conditions such as oro-facial and palatal clefts. Management of severe orofacial infections and necrotizing fasciitis. Management of vascular lesions.

May 2017 - Present: Executive Director/CEO (Voluntary), Motus Health Initiative
