Performs radiographic examinations using Hitachi General Radiography System (Radnext 50).

Perform trauma series as soon as possible.

Perform portable x-ray procedures using Hitachi Mobile X-ray Unit Sirius Star Mobile (Sirius 130HP).

Make exposures necessary for the requested procedures, rejecting and repeating work that does not meet established standards.

Use Carestream Direct View Classic CR in developing x-ray images and send it to Carestream Vue PACS for reading.

Prepares the ultrasound room and assist radiologist in general ultrasound and portable ultrasound procedures and biopsy procedures using Hitachi Hi Vision Avius and Medison Sonoace R3.

Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain cooperation.

Prepare the patient for the procedure, explain if there are restrictions on diet or give instructions as needed.

Perform CT Scan procedures using Hitachi Supria 16 slices plain and with contrast procedures.

Charged and rendered examinations using Visual Medsys.

Ensure that all patient data and administrative duties related to the technical component of the imaging examination is complete, accurate, and entered as required into the Radiology Information System (RIS), Picture Archive & Communication System (PACS).

Seek advice from the Chief Radiologic Technologist or Radiologist on duty about any concerns with the medical imaging examination that has been requested.

Filed and Sorted properly results.

Ward in patients results.

Make sure that all results are in proper medical record.

Prepare contrast media upon the instruction of the radiologist.

Ensure the consent is obtained.

Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs

Reports technical/mechanical problem to Chief Radiologic Technologist and Engineer, records incident in the preventive maintenance logbook stating the date, nature and intervention done.
