Performed Literature searches for relevant scientific articles and comprehensively reviewed the literature and summarized the results.
Designed, planned and conducted a cross-sectional study to estimate and compare the prevalence and adjusted risk of hearing loss among the workers within the Services sector using NIOSH’s Occupational Hearing Loss Surveillance Project data.
Utilized SAS and MS Excel to analyze and interpret the data to Identify at-risk industries and made recommendations for prevention.
Prepared and presented the results to effectively communicate with colleagues at NIOSH and fellow students at the University of Cincinnati.
Developed new technical skills, by extensive literature review, in-depth data analysis and by attending professional/scientific public health meetings.
A manuscript was submitted which is under review process for publication in a peer-reviewed journal.
The Project was also submitted for the 2020 National Hearing Conservational Association for a poster presentation.
