I began Greenville Tech as a Building / Grounds Specialist II. This job was basically a lead custodian. After working at GTC for three months the Supervisory job became open. It took almost a year before they hired someone. In the meantime I was the lead whom acted as supervisor in the absence of the Supervisor. I took on the role in many aspects. I did payroll, delivered supplies, and problem solved issues among shift employees. After a temporary pay increase for performing extra duties I filled out for the Supervisory position. I was elected supervisor for the 2nd shift custodial department at GTC. I supervisor 10 or more employees, do payroll, and vacation time for each. Building/ Grounds Specialist III
