I was the night nurse on the Northeast and PCC halls- Rehab and infection control unit, and long-term care unit respectively.

My job entailed receiving shift report, assigning duties to each CNA for each hall; assessing all patients; feeding G-tube patients, passing out medications-@ midnight and throughout the shift and @ 0600; doing nightly chart checks to make sure that all MD orders written were signed and done for that particular day; any wound care if necessary at night, restocking both medication carts and relaying shift report to 7-3 nurses, etc
