-Crisis and Suicide Intervention Management. Duties include daily crisis and suicide intervention for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline as well as several local mental health care centers. On a daily basis, I diffuse crisis situations, and obtain the appropriate medical attention for those in need. In my role, I practice empathy, patience and active listening skills to calm and assist those in need. I do especially well with my elderly and adolescent callers in need of assistance and inspiration. In my role, I interact with people suffering from a simple anxiety to addiction, homelessness and mental, physical and sexual abuse.
Extra Space Storage May 2017-October 2018
-Property Manager. Duties include maintaining a safe and clean property as well as sales and customer service in renting storage units. I cleaned all available units and daily inspections for safety opportunities. I also managed the success of the sale of open units and strived to meet all sales metrics, including selling insurance and merchandise as appropriate for the customer’s needs. I also handled all service complaints and de-escalated issues for customers who needed additional attention. Employment ended when my husband and I relocated from Indiana to Texas
Nordstrom 2005-2017
Service Experience and Cash Management Specialist. Daily duties include processing all cash and check deposits and reconciling all discrepancies daily with a focus on a balance between speed and accuracy. I also support the store as in-store IT and trainer, as well as handling and resolving customer concerns.
-Retail Sales. Duties included setting and reaching sales and personal trade goals, merchandising, and providing outstanding customer service, and talk to every customer about the loyalty plan to get them enrolled.
-Logistics Management. Duties included the accurate tracking and processing of all inbound/outbound merchandise, reconciling inventory reporting to reduce the impact of shrinkage and unit variance, as well as managing and leading a team to conduct successful inventory practices as well as always being perfectly organized so as to never inconvenience a customer who is searching for a specific item.
