Successfully converted and integrated dual operations into one (1) facility reducing transportation costs and handling for the company resulting in a savings of 1.3 million dollars a year.
Trained and implemented further cost analysis for savings by identifying 3rd party OTR carriers to cargo merchandise at competitive pricing below previous contract negotiated. This saving resulted in gross savings of $1.5 million and better served stores.
Implemented two (2) pilot performance incentive programs that involved the 1) Transportation Fleet driver and 2) Pay for Performance for productivity. Both were implemented in early spring of 2003 and have shown great success and are utilized in all regional distribution centers.

Provided the team tools for managing and budgeting merchandise flow for customer service level expectations in general merchandise and grocery goods for one hundred and twenty-four (124) stores in the mid-west and southeast region.
Supervised inventory and quality control issues to optimize the operation and to better serve stores. Responsible for P&L controls to meet budget and the forecasting of all inbound and outbound volume.
Successfully opened two (2) of Wal-Mart’s newest distribution centers. In the spring of 1999, re-located to LaGrange, Georgia from Ottawa, Kansas to open the 2nd Regional distribution center, which was a DPS (Door per Store).
Relocated to Harrisonville, Missouri to a Grocery Distribution Center and was selected as the Corporate Project Leader to devise a plan to incorporate regional distribution merchandise to new chain of grocery stores.
