Presently working with ENGINEERING MAINTENANCE COMPANY (EMCO-QATAR), as a Camp Administration Officer (Administration, Staff Welfare, Operation & Maintenance) Since June- 2014 to till date for their various projects.
Nature of work
Managing camp operation of the EMCO – QATAR having a present strength of 750 approx. These include catering, housekeeping, security, recreation & allied services. Give instructions to camp Asst, Security, kitchen staff’s & cleaners for the enhancement of service and food quality.
Doing general management of camp, Quality Assurance, Food Safety, HSE, Financials, Human Resources and Administrative duties.
Coordinate with HR-Dept. for bed space arrangement of new arriving employees & arrange bed space accordingly.
Monitoring & inspection to Camp, Mess Hall & Kitchen ensure that all safe/hygienic practices are to be rectified.
Conduct inspection & ensure in all rooms for Electrical Hazards / Tools / Chemicals / Flammable items should not kept in rooms.
To be checked maintenance register on daily bases & instruct to responsible person for repairing Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, AC & Carpentry work.
Manage client & external auditor visits with good hospitality.
Conduct mock drill ( Fire, Electrical & medical emergency ) as per the schedule.
Conduct Tool Box Talk at every Saturday for camp employees, how can maintain safety during the work.
Conduct camp induction for new joining occupants & inform them of camp rules & regulations.
Coordinate and arrange vehicle for employees on urgent & regular bases.
Coordinate / Follow up with HR Dept. for renewal of Qatar RP, Insurance card, Medical Health Card & Food Handling certificate.
Maintain camp occupancy record on daily basis in ERP & Excel, after that report send to HO along with daily MIS reports.
Conduct meeting in every month with camp’s staff ( Security, Kitchen’s Staff, Cleaners & maintenance team ) for motivate & team work.
Performs all clerical duties (memos, letters, reports, filing, and emails).
Maintain camp records related to external correspondence, HSE, Audit reports, risk assessment, aspect impact, DN, daily consumption reports, daily / Monthly camp cost reports, minutes of meeting & etc…
Food costing and control to ensure maximum productivity from food materials and minimizing food wastage.
Check & instruct kitchen’s staff, for quality of food, storage of food items, cleaning and housekeeping standards in kitchen area & dining hall.
Coordinating and supervising to all camp employees for their day to day activities in the camp, menu planning, monthly food cost report & monthly camp cost report etc…
Dealing with respective vendors for supply of certified portable water, sewage clearance, Skip etc.
Scrutinize the suggestions/complaints raised by the camp residents. Try and sort out if within the scope or project, inform to management, if required.
Monitoring & checking on daily bases that the camp is regularly cleaned.
Arrangement & maintain records of welfare materials such as blankets, soaps, glasses, pillows, beds sheets, mattress, towels & etc to the camp residents.
Ensure discipline and timings in Mess Hall & Recreation room.
Conduct mess meetings with camp occupant & resolve issues regarding the food, inform to management if required for sort out the matter.
Maintain good behavior with different nationalities occupants ( Indian, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, Ethiopian & Philippine ).
Conducting surprise checks for ensuring alertness by camp security staff.
If Garden in the camp, supervise gardening work in the camp. Suggest the gardening staff for any improvements.
Display of transport schedule, camp rules and regulations, management notices, HSE posters, medical bulletins, weekly menus on notice boards.
Conduct sports activities for employees as per planned schedule & manage discipline in all games.
