* October, 2015 to April, 2019: AAM in Hamtramck, MI. - CAD Product Designer, Design and Layout on UG NX 11 (and NX 9). Assignments include design, packaging and detail of Rear and Front Drive Module Carrier components and assemblies. Experienced in TCE/PLM, Agile and Wind Chill as well as Microsoft office suite.

* September, 2015 – October, 2015: FEV in Auburn Hills, MI. Contracted by Altair Inc.. CAD Product Designer, Design and Layout on UG NX 9. Engine design and packaging assignments on Chrysler truck products.

* December, 2007 to October, 2011: Navistar Defense Engineering in Madison Heights, MI. – Contracted by ASG Renaissance. Product Engineering CAD Designer, 3D Layout/Design in Product Design Engineering using UG NX6 TCE & NX4 Windows, SDRC/Ideas, Microsoft Office, Open Office and Vismockup software on military and heavy duty commercial trucks and trailers for Navistar Defense - International Truck & BAE Systems. Assignments included design, clearance, vision, ergonomic and blast studies involving the following components and systems: Engine, air intake, exhaust, body, armor, chassis, steering, electrical (wiring/routing and components), fuel (line routing and fuel system), suspension, HVAC cooling, engine and transmission cooling, doors & door mechanisms, interior trim, seating, console and instrument panel. An ergonomic study using the 3D JACK modeling tools for a complete ambulance.

CAREER SUMARY:

From drawing board Detailer to computer aided Designer on 4 CAD software packages over 25 years, my career has been rooted in engine design and morphed into a wide variety of skills in Product Design experience. Engine product component and system design to my current and preferable path of complete vehicle design, ergonomic and packaging studies that includes over six years in military engine and vehicle design experience.
