This project involves analyze existing address standardization application codes and converted Quality Stage Modules. The existing address standardization application has match ratio of 35% and the quality stage modules improved the match ratio to acceptable rate of 85%. The Quality stage jobs were executed to load standardized customer data to MDM tables.

Review existing address conversion codes in Java and translate them to Quality stage modules.

Description: Aetna is a managed health care company, which sells traditional and consumer directed health care insurance plans and related services, such as medical, pharmaceutical, dental, behavioral health and plans. My role involves working both in team for Claim processor project which aims at developing extracts for new source systems.

Working in team for those projects involved developing jobs from scratch and working on shell scripts for them.

Phase 1 addressed fundamental system issues, including how pharmacy claims were processed and stored,

implementation of claims processor vendor, and solutions for eligibility, and pharmacy network. A review of pharmacy claims processor options were done early in program timeline so other functionalities can be designed around a solid claims structure that will meet their future needs.

Description: MCI- WorldCom is telecommunications company that provides wireless services and is an internet service provider. EDW Implementation: This project involves building a new Enterprise Data warehouse (EDW) for the client. This new data warehouse will be based on business model of the customer and would be source system independent. Data from various systems would be cleansed and stored in a normalized database and presented through a dimensional view layer to all users. This new data warehouse would replace the existing data warehouse, which is essentially a collection of disparate data marts built for each department.

Responsibilities:

Designed the Unit testing and integrated testing process and necessary documentation.

Involved in requirements gathering and creating logical and physical design based on the business requirements

Involved in mapping the business rules and worked with the business analyst to get the correct data according to the requirements.

Used Informix XPS load utilities for bulk loading of records which had count often going up to 100 million records.
