Project Description
: To bring down the door windows of a car by a separate battery when the car’s central locking system fails during the accident. This is done by receiving the signal from impact sensor and actuating the timer circuit to operate the servo motor of the window. Team Members : 6 members
My Contribution
: Helps in making timer circuit – which comprises of strip board, IC chip, Capacitor, Relay, Preset.

: Topic – Transesterification Reactor
Project Description
: To fabricate a Reactor that is used to carry out the transesterification process (both alkali and base) in the production of Biodiesel. The reactor comes under Continuous batch process and is of time efficient.

My Contribution
: Designing the reactor setup in Pro E and Helps in constructing the parts.
TRAININGS UNDERGONE:
1. Hands on training at AMBAL AUTOS, Coimbatore
• Learnt how to check the Wheel alignment in cars
• Changing of Brake shoes in car.
• Experimentally learnt how the brake system works and its advancement like ABS etc. 2. Inplant training at L.G. Balakrishnan & Bros Ltd.,, Coimbatore
• The 3 day visit at the plant had a detail view of their products, process they follow and their working methods.
• Learnt the process oh Hot Forging and its different temperature bath.
• They follow a complete process from preparing a raw material and machining them using CNC and VMC machines.
• Learnt how to check the quality using various equipment and its function 3. ROYAL ENFIELD Plant, Chennai.
• Had a guest lecture on the history of ROYAL ENFIELD.
• Their assembly section gave a knowledge – how the parts are been assembled.
• They had their own painting shop, thus most of their bike paints are made manually.
• The vehicle testing section briefs how should the vehicle been tested. 4. Training Programme on SERVICE SELECTION BOARD (SSB), Erode.
• It helps to know, How the selection procedure will be for joining Army Force.
• The training builds us the discipline and teach us how an officer should be. WORKSHOPS ATTENDED:
1. ‘CURRENT TRENDS AND FUTURE INNOVATIONS IN AUTOMOBILES’- Sri Krishna College of Engineering, Coimbatore (2016)
• A deep knowledge on evolution of Carburetor in automobiles.

• The guest lecture briefs the design dimension required to fabricate the Mini Bike.
• It helps to know what are the specifications the Mini Bike should satisfy.
