GENERALLY:

I am a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with almost seventeen years professional experience in the roles of providing project based full Quantity Surveying and Cost Controlling services involving pre and post contract for clients and as main contractor’s Quantity Surveyor on various large and prestigious projects in the Middle East. My professional experience covers contract administration, cost planning, procurement and tendering, commercial management and contract practice. I have experience of all post contract Quantity Surveying duties for Clients and Cost Consultants, including taking off measurement of works, valuation of variations, administering change management procedures, claims preparation and analysis, interim valuations, value engineering, cost reports and final account preparation and settlement. I also have specific experience which includes subcontractor management, site re-measurement and progress reporting, cost reporting (current status, estimated final account and cash-flow projection), risk management, preparation of valuations (incl. advance, interim and final accounts), variations and the preparation and assessment of claims for the main contractor. I am also familiar with the FIDIC, and various bespoke Conditions of Contract, Standard Method of Measurement such as SMM7, CESMM3, POMI and Qatar Standard Method Measurement, Computer literate, proficient in MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint, Auto CAD and Master Bill (Quantity Surveying software) and etc.
