I have twenty-one years of military experience with the United States Army Military Police Corps; duties included Operations Manager at the Company and Battalion levels, Military Police Watch Commander, Personal Security Detail team member, Military Police Investigator and Patrol Supervisor.
Since my retirement, I have worked with security companies as a Site Lead, Site Manager and Operations Officer, Shift Leader and Senior Shift Supervisor, training and supervising employees in all aspects of Site Security, Personal Protection and Emergency Response procedures in and around the Middle East.
I am currently a fully licensed Personal Protection Officer, Consultant and Security Supervisor/Manager, by the State of Texas with all required qualifications and certifications.

The Manager of Protective Services is responsible for leading the Protective Services program, including security policy, strategy, operations, and risk management. I also coordinate security initiatives by working with the staff, contract security personnel and local, regional and national law enforcement agencies, and with functional leaders and the executive team. This is accomplished with the use of flexibility and aptitude to design a security program that addresses the unique challenges associated with an ever change security industry and environment.
Senior Shift Supervisor 2015-2018
As the Senior Shift Supervisor, I provided all aspects of security management of the Chief of Mission activities in Kabul, Afghanistan. I was responsible for the accurate processing of personnel and vehicles entering the facilities, proper upkeep of documentation as well as supervising emergency response procedures of a one hundred fifty-member security force.
Diplomatic Protection Team Leader, Site Manager 2009-2013

During my employment with Triple Canopy I have fulfilled the following positions:
Diplomatic Protection Team Leader, responsible for an eleven-person Protection Team, the planning and execution of site preparation, motorcade operations, collection and dissemination of intelligence and the safe return of all assigned and designated personnel.
Site Manager, Baghdad Embassy Security Force and the Theater Wide Iraq Security Services (TWISS) programs, providing management and supervision of a security force and Iraqi interpreters in support of the Departments of State and Defense activities. My duties included managing a multi-level screening process of foreign and Iraqi Diplomatic Officials and a mobile patrol insuring the safe transportation of designated personnel within the International Zone of Baghdad, Iraq.
Operations Officer, Joint Operations Center, Baghdad, Iraq, fulfilled duties as the primary liaison between DOD and Triple Canopy. Coordinating security services for Iraqi government officials, U.S. Embassy diplomats, foreign dignitaries and General grade officers and ensuring a multi-lateral coordination of security operations.
Law Enforcement Officer/Force Protection Supervisor 2007-2008
I was responsible for providing law enforcement support for the ASG-Kuwait; my duties included basic patrolling, emergency response and the search and seizure of contraband materials, explosive devices, conducting investigations of crimes in and around the U.S. facilities throughout the ASG-Kuwait area in accordance with ASG-Kuwait directives.
Battalion Operations Manager 1986-2007
During my career, I fulfilled numerous positions of responsibility within the Military Police Corps. These positions included:
Operations Manager at the Battalion, Company levels and the Southern European Task Force Military Police Activity. I was responsible for the daily operations, drafting and developing programs and policies as well as coordinating training sites, transportation and equipment. My duties included coordination of all law enforcement activities, investigations and quality control of all case work submitted to the Military Police desk as well as the implementation of DOD physical security directives. I also oversaw the training of incoming military police personnel, contracted security officers and implemented a screening and qualification program for newly employed local nationals. Other responsibilities included establishing and maintaining good working relations with the host nation law enforcement, military assets and the Italian Federal Police.
As a Patrol Supervisor and Operations Manager, I was responsible for daily supervision and training of a multi-national law enforcement patrol in the Republic of South Korea, Federal Republic of Germany and state side assignments. My duties regularly included dealing with potentially dangerous situations associated with law enforcement and emergency response.
As a Military Police Investigator, I was responsible for investigating cases involving child abuse, larcenies, assaults, fraud and gang-related crimes. While deployed to the former Yugoslavia, as a Personal Security Team member servicing General Grade officers and Government officials and Secretaries of State and Secretary of Defense along with augmenting the security detail for the President's visit to the area of operations.
