Capital construction assignments in addition to maintenance and replacement of existing structures as necessary.
Engineering Cost Analyst (1986-1988)
Analyzed and approved construction invoices and change orders. All cost accounting functions. Regularly updated cost reports in the system. Prepared engineering capital budgets.
Technical Assistant/Estimator (1976-1986)
Researched, prepared, and presented both conceptual and budgeted work order estimates for architectural projects, new and remodeled structures, and mechanical and electrical engineering projects. A $75 million synthetic natural gas plant for the City of Philadelphia was the focus and landmark achievement of this interval.
Cost Control Analyst/Expeditor/Field Construction Engineer (1971-1976)
Oversaw expenditures, expedited all materials purchased, and performed quality control testing for various construction phases of a new 583,000 bbl. liquid natural gas plant in Philadelphia. Prepared CPM schedules and prepared field construction reports for the project.

Started at PGW by inspecting and monitoring various aspects of the many pipeline and structural projects that involved Philadelphia Gas Works within the city of Philadelphia.
