Responsibilities were :

a.Supervised and controls the Daily materials Receipts (Goods Received Note (GRN), and Daily Issuance (Goods Issue Slip) (GIS) with the assigned staffs and storage of all spares and materials and equipments in the correct location in the operations area.

b.Physically monitored and updated stock records and plan the stock cycle in minimum and maximum level to avoid any unexpected shutdown of the plants.

c.Supervised and maintains close control over the warehouse data systems covering all related transactions and coordination as necessary.

d.To oversee loading and offloading of Trucks ensuring all procedures are followed.

e.Ensured that, all materials are received properly and inspected prior to acceptance as per the Purchase Requisition (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO).

f.Prepared Daily Receipts, Issuance and Monthly Reports for the management.

g.Replenish of stocks time to time as per consumption ratio in the Plant.

h.Organize and attended 1st quarter, 2nd quarter, 3rd quarter and “Year End” inventory with the Finance and Internal / External audit teams.

i.Maintained materials (FIFO/LIFO procedures ‘1ST IN’ and ‘1ST OUT’ procedures as per warehouse policy.

j.Ensured that, ERP / SAP (MM modules) process of stock movements is properly functioning in the warehouse Receiving area and Issuance area with the Data Encoders.

k.Prepared Purchase Requisition (PR) as required to maintain the Plants and also review the quotations from the supplier.

l.To ensure all activities concerning movement of hazardous materials are carried out in a safe manner.

m.Preparation of Warehouse ‘Yearly Budget’ by providing input and output about warehousing cost and needs.

n.Develops and motivates personnel to ensure the function is staffed with individuals of the required caliber and also planned and implements the best quality management concepts in line with ISO standard protocol.

o.Ensured appropriate housekeeping and tidiness are maintained as per ISO standard.

p.Developed and implement strategies for procuring, storing and distribution of commodities while maintaining average stock level.

B. The Coca – Cola Bottling Company of Saudi Arabia :June ‘93 – April ‘97


Leaded a sales & merchandising team in the Depot and provided management information concerning Depot’s activities like : target, achievement, collection/deposit, expenditures, marketing activities, warehouse stock availabilities etc. Supervise and implemented effectively of gondola, floor display (front/back), PET rack (metal), PAUL FLUM, entrance display, chiller space, (cold / warm beverage), SD, DD, TD & CC cooler and signages etc. Carried out competitive activities in the market to create new customers and observe productive / non-productive customers. Implemented credit facility application (CFA) etc

Prepared Daily / Weekly / Monthly targets and achievements for complete sales team and split out for each salesman and each route as per sales volume after consulting with the Sales Manager. To ensure the sales team achieves their assigned sales target, monitor the dispatch and return of sales trucks to administer the work pattern of salesman. Conduct daily meeting with salesman and check the sales figures of salesmen on each route, monitor product placement in the market and provide guidance to salesmen regarding product display. Analyze salesman’s daily reports, and forward their comments / suggestions to the Sales Manager for review and action. Handle customer complaints and resolve them in a timely manner. Identify new customers, arrange product promotion, check and confirm company schemes offered to customers, conduct periodic market survey in order to monitor competitive activities. Supervise payment collection from credit paying customers, ensure the adequate supply of products with the production department.


●Gained practical wisdom during a 3 days training in Intercontinental Hotel (Riyadh) conducted by Coca Cola International. Topics discussed were Direct distribution for A, B, & C-class customer, Customer Route Planning (CRP), monitoring of sales volume, deals and promotions for retail and wholesales.

●Attended 2 days training conducted by Coca - Cola Gulf representative in Hotel Sheraton (Jeddah). Topics were : Cooler, FAUL PALM, Pet rack Installation, merchandising, sponsorships, festival and other events.

●Attended a new product launch seminar at Oberoi Hotel (Dammam) represented by Middle East Operations Manager, representative of Coca Cola Middle East and CCBCSA regional Managers.
