Subsurface Lead and Qualified Reserve Coordinator (QRC) (2016 – 2019) Led a GGPE multinational team (four disciplines, five nationalities) providing support in reservoir engineering, G&G and petrophysics.

• Oversaw subsurface support for three asset teams within the business unit including, Eagle Ford, MidContinent and Gulf of Mexico (offshore).

• Led the evaluation of more than 50 new opportunity projects in US, unconventional and Gulf of Mexico.

• Managed the entire US Business Unit Reserves estimation and booking process. Reservoir Engineering Lead, QRC (2013 – 2016)

Led a reservoir engineering multinational team (13 reservoir engineers, nine nationalities) in charge of four oil fields studies and reservoir management.

• Integrated well testing, PVT, and core analysis, material balance, nodal analysis and dynamic simulation for three assets in Gulf of Mexico (offshore), Oklahoma, and Alaska.

• Supported exploration department in creating development scenarios for more than 10 projects. More of the projects were offshore Gulf of Mexico.

• Supervised well location and trajectory definition of three exploration and appraisal wells in the Alaska North Slope.

Reservoir Development Manager, QRC – Moscow, Russia (2011 – 2013) Led a multidisciplinary, multinational team (17 geologists, geophysics, petrophysicists and reservoir engineers, seven nationalities) in charge of more than 15 oilfields.

• Created data bases from scratch, interpreted the available data, and prepared static and dynamic models to design development plans and production strategies based on a better knowledge of the reservoirs.

• Developed from exploration up to first gas of a field in Siberia in arctic conditions. Oversaw well location and trajectory definition, including drilling and completion monitoring. Reservoir and Production Engineering Manager – Tripoli, Libya (2006 – 2011) Led a reservoir and production engineering multidisciplinary, multinational, and multi-company team (26 engineers, seven nationalities, four companies) in charge of more than 12 oilfields study and reservoir management.

• Defined more than 200 well locations and trajectory to optimize the full development of the field.

• Oversaw rig schedule management (40 new development wells and 80 workover jobs per year).

• Designed and managed the production - injection balance (330 000 bopd – 250 000 bwipd).

• Optimized the artificial lift system (ESP).

Western Sector Development Manager – Gassi Touil. Algeria (2005 – 2006) Led a subsurface multidisciplinary, multinational, and multi-company team (19 geologists, geophysics and reservoir engineers, nine nationalities, five companies).

• Studied, prepared, and followed the western sector development projects, including a CO2 sequestration project.

• Oversaw well location, designed the Field Development Plan and strategized the well testing campaign. Senior Reservoir Engineer – Almaty, Kazakhstan (2004 – 2005) Acted as reservoir engineer integrating Geology, petrophysics, and Reservoir Engineering to provide development opportunities and production potential improvement.

• Provided full technical evaluation of five mature and depleted oil reservoirs (550 wells) to estimate production potential and remaining reserves.

Senior Reservoir Engineer – Madrid, Spain (2002 – 2004) Acted as reservoir engineer integrating Geology, petrophysics, and Reservoir Engineering to provide development opportunities and production potential improvement. In charge of Algerian and Spanish oil reservoirs, including management and studies.

• Constructed from scratch, Tifernine Oil Field geological and dynamic simulation models. Oil daily production was duplicated from a well drilled after the study of 5,000 bopd.

• Oversaw gas lift project for Chipiron Field (offshore Spain), including nodal analysis and reservoir engineering. 10,000 bopd after the implementation of the gaslift system.

• Constructed Yela Underground Gas Storage (Spain) geological and dynamic simulation models. Senior Reservoir Engineer – Maracaibo, Venezuela (1999 – 2002) Led projects for the Miocene reservoir (1,000 wells) of Mene Grande Field, including reservoir engineering.

• Oversaw reservoir management and studies of Mene Grande West Flank Field sector, including design and execution of a steam cyclic injection pilot project.

• Evaluated 672 non-active wells. Provided comprehensive evaluation of the field geology, production history, reservoir properties and well completions. As a result, more than 150 workover job proposals were generated and performed.

Company Man – Mene Grande, Venezuela (1997 – 1999) Supervised the first workover and drilling rigs Repsol brought to Mene Grande after the takeover of the operation in Venezuela.
