Vehicle Routing of Solid Waste Collection Trucks in Coimbatore City Corporation using Genetic Algorithm, 6 months

To find the shortest route for solid waste collection trucks of Coimbatore City Corporation using Genetic Algorithm to reduce the distance of transportation and cost on a specific time period. It reduced haphazard movement of trucks. By minimizing the distance and time of collection, cost associated with the solid wastes collection got reduced. Further, the number of vehicles and manpower got optimised.

Design & Fabrication of Semi-Automatic Pneumatic Rammer, 6 months

To improve the foundry environment and accuracy of the cast parts by going with Automation of Moulding Process that packs moulding sand evenly throughout the box.
