TECHNICAL SKILLS

Create a MEPQR (Mitsubishi Engineering Product Quality Report) on top warranty claims by receiving details from the technician and obtain necessary data (trouble code, vehicle electrical data, and etcs.)

Verify the defect of the returned item by assembling it to the vehicle and perform a test drive

Review all source of data (Current and previous MEPQR, warranty claims, and etcs.) to assist field with repair of unresolved 7-day Techline cases

Validate TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) on a pool vehicle and evaluate the effectiveness

Validate new version of Mitsubishi scan tool and provide feedback to Mitsubishi Corporation on any issues if found

Collaborate with Port Specialist to conduct a vehicle audit at the port and create a feedback technical report

Attend ETI (Equipment and Tool Institute) Winter Tech Week and give a presentation to provide technical information of Mitsubishi scan tool.

Manage ISIR (Initial Sample Inspection Report) documents from beginning to final stage for new car (New Elantra, Sonata, Optima, Santa Fe)

Utilize VAATZ (Value Advanced Automotive Trade Zone) system to create and turn in ISIR documents for any 4M and EO (Engineering Order) changes for mass production stage.

Create and manage Control Plan, PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), Six Sigma, and Gage R & R for each new/current car production line.

Initiate Corrective Action Plans and work with suppliers to come up with root cause and countermeasure when defect is found.

Perform process and product audit to ensure the supplier’s processes are robust and capable.

Review all of supplier documents to ensure that the supplier is keeping all documents up to date.

Present a quality audit result to upper management and related departments

Monitor quality of the supplier product by measuring the product based on the specification

Ensure that the supplier is capable of delivering the product on time with best quality by establishing positive relationship and communication with the supplier

Daily perform of internal audit to ensure quality and in-line process

Conduct internal system, process and product audit daily

Investigate and determine the defect state of item(s) in question

Create countermeasure plans to eliminate defect during production.
