Information Teacher

Literacy to me means the ability to know how to read and write. Research is the study of materials and sources you use in order to get facts about whatever you are researching. They both have a lot of similarities in how they help us value ourselves. It helps me discover information when I have trouble thinking of it off the top of my head. They help each other out in many ways as well because without knowing how to read or write I could do research on and topic I've been given. The main five good sources that you can use for researching something is Google, Wikipedia, Ebscohost database, Thesaurus, and any local Library. You have nineteen databases that come with using Ebscohost. Research databases are needed in a high demand without them it would be extremely difficult to find information. Especially when you are in college and you have an assignment due on the 9th and it was given out to you on the 6th that's not extremely bad but without having access it would be kind of difficult to finish in that short period of time without any factual information just by going off the information that was given to you by the teacher and your own personal common knowledge. Databases have different points of views some contain scholarly and some articles written by some peers that creditable. You can also use databases in the real world in any career field you so choose. You can sometimes refer to data based articles written by credible writers, such as authors, journalists, researchers, and reporters. When referring to other people information look for experts in the field.
