JaneKasperDesign Independent Learning Strategy and Design Consultant 2009-present Specializing in educational strategy, curriculum design, experiential learning, and learning methodologies. I provide thought leadership, and facilitation of the learning design process in tandem with rapid design. Projects integrate marketing, operations, executive leadership, and a wide variety of constituent groups. Sales enablement programs integrate product, sales methodology, skills and behaviors, brand identity, product marketing, operations, and product launches.

My design work aligns clients, educators, trainers, and project teams in collaborative and innovative thinking to transform more traditional business classroom content into engaging, compelling, and relevant application for the learner. Specific examples include:

RevJen Independent Learning Strategy and Design Consultant 2017-2018 Provided thought leadership, learning architecture, design and development for a suite of flagship revenue capacity building workshops. Developed the strategy for operationalizing two primary regional sales and delivery regions in the US. Executed the design and development of early stage marketing – including marketing flyers: layout design, graphics, writing. In the area of business development with: proposal design, lead writer and product oversight, customer testimonials, product roadmaps, and graphics. Created a comprehensive train-the trainer process from pre-qualification through certification; including the design of the processes, vetting, inaugural certification lead evaluator/facilitator, development of all context, learning materials, and facilitator guides.

Twitter Independent Learning Strategy and Design Consultant 2017 Provided thought leadership, and facilitation of the learning design process for sales enablement in tandem with rapid design of a sales methodology for their experienced sales force. The process integrated a team of sales operations leaders and the global sales learning and development group. The project aligned the tactical elements of what is needed for sales operations with the behavioral and interpersonal skills of the sales force. The program was built to be facilitated by a combination of sales executives, management, and select sales operations personnel. 2

Medidata Director, Global Sales Enablement Strategy and Design 2014-2017 Medidata’s Sales Enablement team supports sales executives, management, and their team members. Medidata is a multinational technology corporation that specializes in developing and marketing cloud- based solutions to address functions throughout the clinical development process. The Medidata platform is designed to improve study design, protocol development, trial planning and management, site collaboration and management, patient-centric data-capture and management, randomization and trial supply management, monitoring, safety event capture, clinical data capture (EDC) and management, advanced reporting and business analytics.

Commercial Kick-off Event and Program (CKO) – general sessions and blue print for learning strategy. Provided thought leadership learning framework and storyline development for the sale executive’s delivery of the corporate sales strategy and execution in collaboration with our sales executive leadership team. The design of CKO incorporated various methods and mediums to covey messaging including: all marketing collateral, signage, communications, multimedia, on-screen graphic design and learning methods. The materials are used for reinforcement of behavioral expectations and communications within the executive team and provided the blueprint for the learning agenda for the year. Commercial Sales On-boarding Program. Created a curriculum strategy and deployment plan for the Sales organization; research, design, and deployment of their on-boarding program. This program was a shift in learning from a ‘tell’ to a ‘hands-on’ workshop enabling their sellers to practice the critical skills needed. Sales Methodology Global Roll-out. Worked in collaboration with a vendor/partner to tailor their materials to our organization; providing relevant examples and clarity to applying the vendor’s materials to our unique sales environment. This program was localized and delivered in the Americas, EMEA, APAC and APEJ. Risk-based Monitoring Training. Worked in collaboration with the Principal in Consulting Services and the Senior Director of Business Analytics to create four virtual instructor-led sessions and a face-to-face hands- on workshop for Risk-based Monitoring. Consulting services included: design, consulting, delivery, facilitation coaching, and materials development.

Continuous Learning Program. Developed an end-to-end design process utilizing globally matrixed teams. The continuous learning architecture provides learning regionally integrating the global needs. The individual programs are localized for the Americas, EMEA, APAC and APEJ. Participants include sales, value, operations, product, and marketing teams.

Pentair Independent Learning Strategy and Design Consultant 2013-2014 Pentair’s Learning and Development team supports enterprise-wide development supporting over 30,000 employees. Pentair is a manufacturing company providing global water, fluid, thermal management, and equipment protection products, services, and solutions. Lean Curriculum. Design and development of a Lean curriculum to serve the organization. Managed, authored, designed and developed the Lean Enterprise foundational curriculum. Deployed to the full organization via their eLearning platform.

Performance Management for Individual Contributors and their Managers. Designed, authored and developed eLearning modules for both individual contributors and their managers. Led the HR and Organizational Development SMEs to create an overview of a Performance Management series including a module for individuals as well as one for managers. Managed eLearning designers to execute the distribution of job aides and eLearning modules.

Managing at Pentair (MAP). Managed the design, development and vetting of the leadership development course for senior managers. Resource management included internal resource management, vendor management, design facilitation, review session, and preparation for train the trainer sessions. The design was a ‘refresh’ of an existing program built nearly 13 years ago. The new design included a corporate communications plan, development, and design to educate key stakeholders. Participants and executive sponsorship have found the program to be successful in its new form, giving the participants hands-on relevant experience in building their skills in the classroom versus listening to lectures. 3

Learning Management System (LMS) Integration. Developed an end-to-end design to integrate the legacy training programs and parent company training programs into one system. Managed the design of communications, and co-facilitated training for senior Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) in managing the system. Organized the library of existing eLearning materials and provided design and development for the LMS senior technology lead in the deployment of training sessions for internal stakeholders.

Dell Director, Global Commercial Learning and Development 2009-2013 Dell’s Global Learning and Development team supports a global sales organization. The design and project management team supports all technical and non-technical sales training for the commercial sales organization providing direction to the entire sales organization on effective learning strategy, selling skills, and development initiatives that support and improve productivity and effectiveness. Dell is a technology company providing consumer and enterprise software, and hardware as well as an end-to-end approach to storage, end user computing, services, networking, and servers. I provided thought leadership, directed learning design, project and resource management, and prepared delivery teams to deploy the training in their regions. Career highlights at Dell include:

Design Process Improvement. Developed an end-to-end design process utilized globally; creating a process for building an annual learning strategy blueprint, organizing rapid design development and review process. Created a Just in Time (JIT) virtual forum for leadership and segment learning and development sessions.

Global Change Management Curriculum Development. Created a curriculum strategy and deployment plan for the Commercial Sales Operations organization; research, design, deployment and train-the-trainer for both a global Project-based Change program and a fourteen-course curriculum for building the bench strength in current sellers to become managers in the future. Researched and built the Channel Sales Competency Assessment, sales methodology approach, and the quarterly business training strategy for the Channel.

Executive and Worldwide Leadership Design Workshops. Designed and supported the executive and senior leadership teams in change management learning and development messaging for the organization and business unit strategy messaging world-wide for the annual Tech Summit and Field Readiness Seminars held annually.
