Description: Considering the need of Renewable energy source we designed and manufactured the solar + electricity powered Auto rickshaw with a carrying capacity of 5 persons with 20-25 km/charge efficiency. We have looked at the existing vehicle and the environment in which it operates, produced a prototype electric vehicle, and investigated recharging infrastructure requirements and designs.
