lead on project strategies, packaging,

photography, museum design and more.

I was hired on at the architecture firm

Kahler Slater to the environmental

branding team. I assisted on projects

for clients such as Snap-on, Mars, Inc.,

and the Bartolotta Restaurants. Work

ranged greatly from donor walls to

restaurant branding, and included

working with architects, interior

designers, fabricators, and clients.

Working in a Milwaukee advertising

Stratton, I was a part of a team creating

advertisement campaigns for companies,

tag lines, headlines, web banners, fliers,

inserts, displays, and more.

In the tourism office for Milwaukee, I

designed magazine covers, poster, post

cards, business cards, logos, and more

to promote Milwaukee.

Awards

Solid Waste Research Grant Recipient

The University of Wisconsin System State Environmental Fund I was awarded a $4,000 grant to continue research and development on my phone app, “Plated Pear”. The app encourages smart use of food in the consumer’s household, reducing food waste and its effects on budget, energy, and methane emissions by bringing attention to consumer’s food. Sustainability Summit & Exhibition

I presented my research on food waste and my subsequent “Plated Pear” app project with other UWM design and visual communication students. Social Justice Symposium Presentation

The UW-Milwaukee architecture school was approached by the KAMII to design a vehicle to sell organic produce from their urban farm in the food deserts of Chicago. On a team with graduate architecture students led by Regent’s Teaching Excellence Award recipient Professor Don Hanlon, we created and presented a full structure with graphics for this food trailer in four days.
