EXPERIENCE STATEMENT

My strong process design skills include P&ID development, process facility simulations, optimization studies, process calculations, Safety analysis, proposals and report writing. Hands on experience in Feasibility, Pre-FEED, FEED and detailed engineering projects. I have expertise in process simulation tools such as HYSYS, PROMAX, FLARENET, FLARESIM, HTRI, KORF and STONER. I have advanced knowledge of both steady state and dynamic simulations using HYSYS. I have proficiency in reactor design, equipment design, process instrumentation, control philosophy, hydraulics and separations. I studied hydrocracking, hydrotreating and ring opening reactions in pilot scale reactors and developed novel catalysts for the heavy oil upgrading. Kinetic and thermodynamic model were developed for hydrotreating and hydrocracking reactions and optimization studies were carried out using HYSYS. Experienced in writing research proposals for research grants. Hands on experience with design of experiments, heterogeneous catalysts development and reaction studies in pilot scale. I have great experience in precommissioning, commissioning and operation of the fertilizer plant. Hands on experience pre-commissioning and commissioning activities such as coordination of operational test procedures, Functional tests and checking of interlocks and logics involved in the process. Experience with plant start-up, operation, and trouble shooting.
